Healing Cancer Holistically

Cancer

There are numerous holistic sources that claim to be healing cancer with varying degrees of success. A few of these report success greater than 90 percent of the time. I have spent years researching and finding the best information available, and have compiled a list of the most important considerations relevant to cancer. I present here a distillation of these factors, as well as a brief exploration of some approaches that would be more likely to fail so these can be avoided.

This article will cover four basic areas:

o How and Why the FDA has Failed Us. o Holistic Options that Fall Short. o Comprehensive Holistic Treatments. o A Note on Allopathic Cancer Treatments.

How and Why the FDA has Failed Us

If cancer can be treated so effectively using holistic means, then why isn’t the allopathic medical establishment using such methods and showing greater success?

As many of us know, the EPA and the FDA have failed us when it comes to cancer. It’s no wonder that one out of three people are expected to get cancer some time in their lifetimes. Such an outrageous statistic is only possibly due to gross levels of corruption in our government.

It is now common practice for pharmaceutical industry executives to gain top posts in the FDA where they are then able to make critical decisions affecting the industry that they are charged with regulating. Then, a couple years down the road, they are offered high-paying positions back in the same industry that they just helped through their post at FDA. The implications of this blatant conflict of interest are obvious. One example of many is that of Michael Taylor who had been a Monsanto attorney before going to work for the FDA. During his time at FDA, he contributed to creating a new FDA policy that deemed genetically modified foods as “generally regarded as safe”, or GRAS. He also wrote the policy exempting biotech foods from labeling. Following his time at FDA, he went back to work for Monsanto – no doubt in a very lucrative position. Searching Google on “FDA revolving door” (without the quotes) turns up 28,900 results.

Consider: We know that money corrupts and that people will do outrageous things for money and power. These things go without saying. With all their science and research:

Cancer: Causes and Remedies (Part Four)

Cancer

Natural Healing For Cancer

Healing from cancer must begin where the cancer started – the human mind pattern. Whatever is not in your mind-pattern cannot happen to you. If cancer has happened to you, cancer or the belief in cancer is in your mind pattern.

I hear many people, mainly Christians, always talking about not claiming a thing. Well, when it comes to disease they don’t have to claim the disease because the disease has already claimed them. Just because you say you don’t or won’t claim a thing doesn’t mean you won’t have or suffer from the thing you profess to not claim. If you don’t claim a thing (on the surface with words) but in your heart you fear the thing and believe in the thing, you GOT IT!

You only have cancer once you believe in cancer. You can only die from cancer if you believe you can die from cancer. It’s predominantly mental. Why do you think doctors can tell a person that they have only six months to live and in six months the person dies of cancer? I witnessed this with my father back in 1994. They told pops he had only six months to live and he bought it. The man died in six months precisely.

Doctors know that a cancer patient who is blasted with radiation and inundated with chemotherapy will succumb from these treatments within six months and cancer will get the blame.

Western doctors are in error for telling scared and faithless cancer patients/victims that they only have a certain amount of time to live. This is wrong on doctors’ behalf. You should never tell a person that they are dying or only have a certain amount of time to live. The body manifests what the mind believes. You can’t enjoy life knowing you are going to die. Most people don’t even truly live life and because they never learned to truly live, they are souls afraid of dying. As Braveheart said, “Every man dies, but not every man really lives.” Most people are alive but they are not “living.”

In the East, the doctors don’t tell the patient that they have a fatal disease and only have a certain amount of time to live. However, they do tell family members.

Causes of Hairloss in Women

HairLoss

In a society where a woman’s hair is such an important part of what other members of society define as ‘beautiful’, it is a traumatic experience for any woman to realize that she has started to lose some of her hair. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, about 20% of all women will at some or other stage be faced with hair loss problems. Let us briefly look at the causes of hairloss in women.

The causes for losing hair and the patterns which it follows, are not always the same for women as for men. While men tend to lose hair on specific areas of their heads, hairloss for women is usually more uniform and occurs all over the head. Hair loss among women can also occur at a very young age. Girls of 16 or 17 sometimes have problems with this.

In the old days doctors used to think that the causes for baldness among both men and women were the same.

Science has now taught us that this is not necessarily the case.

In a normal person a hair will grow for about two to six years. After that it will go into a resting period and eventually fall out. The follicle from which the hair grew soon starts to produce a new hair. This cycle is repeated over and over again until old age.

Where a person however suffers to a genetic predisposition to baldness, something goes wrong. As soon as testosterone comes into contact with the enzymes present in the hair cell, it produces a very potent androgen. This androgen then binds with receptors that are found in the hair follicles and eventually shrinks or even destroys the hair follicle. This condition is commonly known as androgenic alopecia.

Not all hair loss problems in women are caused by androgenic alopecia, however.

It has lately been found that there can be many contributing factors. One of these is hormonal problems. A condition called polycystic ovary syndrome is often the result, the primary symptom of which is hair loss.

It has also been found that certain auto-immune disorders can result in an inflammatory hair disease which causes hair to come out in patches or clumps.

What is Cancer – Incidence, Diagnosis, Causation, Symptoms, Treatment and Prognosis

Cancer

Cancer is second only to cardiovascular disease as the leading cause of death in the Western world. Although Cancer is primarily a disease of the elderly with more than 60% of deaths from cancer occurring in those over the age of 65, cancer can strike even the youngest of children.

Cancer appears to occur when the growth of cells in the body is out of control and cells divide too rapidly. Cancer can develop in almost any organ or tissue, such as the lung, colon, breast, skin, bones, or nerve tissue.

Most common sites are:

Prostrate 24%Breast 13%Lung 13%Colon and Rectum 9%Bladder 3%Uterus 2.5%

The cause of Cancer is believed to be a combination of genetic factors and outside carcinogens such as tobacco, viruses, infection, asbestos, vinyl chloride, inappropriate diet.

Cancer often has no specific symptoms, so it is important that you limit your risk factors and undergo appropriate cancer screening. The signs and symptoms will depend on where the cancer is, the size of the cancer, and how much it affects the nearby organs or structures.

If a cancer spreads (metastasizes), then symptoms may appear in different parts of the body. As a cancer grows, it begins to push on nearby organs, blood vessels, and nerves. If the cancer is in a critical area, such as certain parts of the brain, even the smallest tumor can cause early symptoms.

But sometimes cancers start in places where it does not cause any symptoms until the cancer has grown quite large. Pancreatic cancers, for example, do not usually grow large enough to be felt from the outside of the body. By the time a pancreatic cancer causes these signs or symptoms, it has usually reached an advanced stage.

A cancer may also cause symptoms common to many other problems, such as; fever, fatigue and weight loss. This may be because the cancer uses up much of the body’s energy or it may cause the release of substances which affect metabolism.

Some lung cancers make hormone-like substances that affect blood calcium levels, affecting nerves and muscles and causing weakness and dizziness.

It is important to know what some of the general (non-specific) signs and symptoms of cancer are, but remember that having any of these does not mean that you have cancer.

What Is Cancer And How Can I Prevent It

Cancer

Cancer is An abnormal growth of cells which tend to proliferate in an uncontrolled way and, in some cases, to metastasize (spread).

Cancer is not one disease. It is a group of more than 100 different and distinctive diseases.

Cancer can involve any tissue of the body and have many different forms in each body area. Most cancers are named for the type of cell or organ in which they start. If a cancer spreads (metastasizes), the new tumor bears the same name as the original (primary) tumor.

The frequency of a particular cancer may depend on gender. While skin cancer is the most common type of malignancy for both men and women, the second most common type in men is prostate cancer and in women, breast cancer.

Cancer frequency does not equate to cancer mortality. Skin cancers are often curable. Lung cancer is the leading cause of death from cancer for both men and women in the world today.

Immediate and also quick requirements including medical care bills, unpredicted auto breakdown need to be financed as soon as possible. In these cases, you can select quick loans online. They are simply money provided to people to get managing the emergency requirements.

Benign tumors are NOT cancer; malignant tumors are cancer. Cancer is NOT contagious.

Cancer is the Latin word for crab. The ancients used the word to mean a malignancy, doubtless because of the crab-like tenacity a malignant tumor sometimes seems to show in grasping the tissues it invades. Cancer may also be called malignancy, a malignant tumor, or a neoplasm (literally, a new growth).

ORIGIN OF CANCER

All cancers begin in cells, the body’s basic unit of life. To understand cancer, it’s helpful to know what happens when normal cells become cancer cells.

The body is made up of many types of cells. These cells grow and divide in a controlled way to produce more cells as they are needed to keep the body healthy. When cells become old or damaged, they die and are replaced with new cells.

But sometimes this orderly process goes wrong. The genetic material (DNA) of a cell can become damaged or changed, producing mutations that affect normal cell growth and division. When this happens, cells do not die when they should and new cells form when the body does not need them. The extra cells may form a mass of tissue called a tumor.

Sinus Infection – What is Sinusitis? – Nurse’s Guide

Sinus,Infection

If you have heard the term sinusitis or you’re wondering what it is or you have it or think you have it now, I’ll explain in this article what sinusitis is. The term simply means that your sinuses are inflamed or infected. It does not mean you have a sinus infection but you could.

Your sinuses, or rather any of your sinus cavities, could merely be inflamed from irritants or pollutants like pollen, fungi and other molds, smoke, cigarette smoke, smog, household irritants, fumes or dozens of other air-borne germs, bacteria and viruses and unknown factors.

Symptoms of sinusitis may or may not include pain and the location of the problem will depend on which one of your sinus cavities is affected. You have four sets.

If the pain is in your forehead directly over the frontal sinuses then those may be the culprits that are causing the problem.

If you have pain around your teeth and upper jaw along with cheeks that hurt when you touch them then the problem could be in the maxillary sinuses.

If you have any swelling of your eyelids or around your eyes or any pain that is between your eyes you may have inflammation of the ethmoid sinuses. They are located by the tear ducts that are in the corner of your eyes. They can also cause your nose to be stuffy and the area may be tender on the sides of your nose. Rarely you could lose your sense of smell temporarily.

The sphenoid sinuses lie deep in the head. You can have a headache on the top of your head from sinusitis in these. It used to be thought that it wasn’t so common but more and more people are connecting their top of the head headaches with their sinuses. The inflammation in these cavities can also cause neck pain and earaches.

You can also have inflammation or tenderness in several sinus cavities at a time. Sometimes you won’t be able to determine which ones are causing the problem.

You may or may not have pain but you may have thick nasal discharge. It may be yellow, green or tinged with blood. If it is yellow, that usually is a sure sign you have a sinus infection.

What You Should Know About Breast Cancer

Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women and the second leading cause of cancer death, exceeded only by lung cancer in 1985. One woman in eight who lives to age 85 will develop breast cancer at some time during her life.

At present there are over 2 million women living in the United States who have been treated for breast cancer. About 41,000 women will die from the disease. The chance of dying from breast cancer is about 1 in 33. However, the rate of death from breast cancer is going down. This decline is probably the result of early detection and improved treatment.

Breast cancer is not just a woman’s disease. The American Cancer Society estimates that 1600 men develop the disease yearly and about 400 may die from the disease.

Breast cancer risk is higher among those who have a mother, aunt, sister, or grandmother who had breast cancer before age 50. If only a mother or sister had breast cancer, your risk doubles. Having two first-degree relatives who were diagnosed increases your risk up to five times the average.

Although it is not known exactly what causes breast cancer; sometimes the culprit is a hereditary mutation in one of two genes, called BRCA1 and BRCA2. These genes normally protect against the disease by producing proteins that guard against abnormal cell growth, but for women with the mutation, the lifetime risk of developing breast cancer can increase up to 80 percent, compared with 13 percent among the general population. In effect, more than 25 percent of women with breast cancer have a family history of the disease.

For women without a family history of breast cancer, the risks are harder to identify. It is known that the hormone estrogen feeds many breast cancers, and several factors – diet, excess weight, and alcohol consumption – can raise the body’s estrogen levels.

Early Signs

Early signs of breast cancer include the following:

- A lump which is usually single, firm and most often painless is detected.

- An area of the skin on the breast or underarm is swollen and has an unusual appearance.

- Veins on the skin surface become more prominent on one breast.

- The affected breast nipple becomes inverted, develops a rash, changes in skin texture, or has a discharge other than breast milk.

Comparison of Leading Diets

Diet

Diet, it’s a word that you probably hear every day, either on the news, online or from someone you know. If you’re over the age of 30, you’ve probably tried several diets yourself, hopefully with some success but most likely not. Millions of people a year start a new diet and millions of people a year don’t continue it for long.

Why is that? Why are diets so difficult for people? Could it be that diets are just too complicated? Or perhaps too restricting? In this article we take a look at three of today’s popular diets, otherwise known as weight loss programs or lifestyle changes. The three diets we’re going to discuss are the Atkins Diet, The South Beach Diet, and Weight Watchers.

Atkins Diet

The Atkins Diet became popular in the mid to late 90′s throughout present time, although it has lost some of its popularity. This diet is very strict and very controversial. While historical diets have you restrict fats or portions, the Atkins Diet takes a more extreme, and at the same time, more liberal approach. With the Atkins Diet you basically eliminate almost all carbohydrates. While not entirely eliminated, the amount of carbs you can have, especially early on, is a drastic change to many people’s diets. But, you can eat as much protein or fat as you want. Hungry for some eggs? Go ahead and have a dozen because the Atkins Diet lets you eat as much as you want.

Personally, I did try Atkins Diet about 3 years ago. My wife and I tried it for 3 months. I will say that it did do what it said it would and we both lost weight, fairly quickly. The first few days of the diet, as explained in many of the books, were the most difficult because of the drastic change you are putting your body through when you switch your food intake with this diet. This phase is called induction. After about a week your body adjusts and the weight starts to come off. The problem for us was that bread, pasta, and especially pizza was something we couldn’t live without. We did learn something from the diet though, and have since used some of the tips we learned from the Atkins Diet in our everyday lives.

Snoring Remedy Vs Snoring Aid – How to Choose the Best Snoring Remedy

Snoring

If you are one of the 87 million that are afflicted with snoring, fortunately it is possible to find an effective snoring remedy. However, although there are a lot of snoring remedies out there to choose from, it does not mean that they will all help.

In fact, there are several home remedies and store purchased remedies as well that just do not offer an effective elimination or reduction of snoring. Perhaps it would be more accurate to refer to the remedies that reduce snoring but do not eliminate it as snoring aids.

In addition, there are some home remedies that help reduce snoring, but do not target the main cause of snoring, which is the tongue relaxing and blocking the airway. Snoring aids such as aromatherapy, herbal remedies and certain snoring sprays may actually cause harm by allowing the snoring to continue and worsen, especially if there are underlying issues associated with sleep apnea.

Trying to find an effective snoring cure can sometimes consist of combining several different solutions. For example, many people are told that losing weight can provide snore relief as well as reduce obstructive sleep apnea. This can be a useful, but it can be a very long process that will not be immediate in the relief of snoring or stop sleep apnea by itself.

But by combining a snoring mouthpiece or sleep apnea mouthpiece with a plan to lose weight, this allows immediate relief from the mouthpiece, and long-term relief through the loss of weight.

This is a method that truly targets the issue at its root. Being overweight increases neck size and results in excess tissue blocking the airway. A weight loss program can reduce the excess tissue in the neck area and decrease the severity of snoring and/or sleep apnea. Plus the mouthpiece is essential in providing the ultimate immediate relief sought out.

Home Remedies Vs. Mouthpiece

Just as a snoring mouthpiece can be combined with a weight loss plan to achieve both short term and long term benefits, there are a few other home remedies that can be combined with a snoring mouthpiece to maximize snoring relief:
